A distribution board is a component of an electricity supply
system that divides power into different circuits and
provides a protective fuse or circuit breaker for each
circuit in a common enclosure. Distribution boards contain a
main circuit breaker, which is the core part of these board
panels.
Its functionality is to split the total amount of electrical
power (either single or three phase) and distributing it to
mini circuit breakers present in the board enclosure.
